Meet Elliott Slinn
Born and raised in New Westminster, Elliott loves the city, the people, and wants to empower future generations. Elliott has worked in schools from Lord Kelvin Elementary to Douglas College. He loves seeing students empowered to shine as their true selves. Elliott wants everyone to have the same ability to experience art and to invite more voices and diversity into art and the community-at-large. As New Westminster’s Poet Laureate, you can often find Elliott sharing his poetry and music at community events and sparking community conversations about important community issues.
